So I was around Oyingbo, Lagos recently and at different times 3 masquerades just cornered me with their long whips.
You know as a child, we have been taught to fear masquerades…but when you know the person you have on the inside, if they have any sense at all, they should be afraid of me.
So they cornered me and I just walked on straight, when they saw I wasn’t afraid, he came close and asked me for money.
Chai, you never see customer, ara orun (heavenly being) needs money…so i stood and I told him quietly “The only thing I have to give you is Jesus, you better accept him.”
I said it to the three of them that cornered…it is a default answer I have prepared for them and their cousins in white that begs money on the street.
They were probably shocked under their attire and walked away to go look for another person to corner.
Wareva…even masquerades need Jesus!
Lolz…
