THOU ART INEXCUSABLE

Book study: Romans 2:1-end

The word of God per time is first for us before others. If I am reading the Bible I should read with an open mind and see that whatsoever matter the Holy spirit brings up I deal with it first in my life before I start imagining the people the message is likely for.

If you rebuke others not to do something, do you do the same? Is your private lifecongruent with the message that you preach?

We make boast that we are Christians and we are accepted through the grace expressed by God but do we negate this grace by a self righteous attitude?

Do we say like that Pharisee in Luke 18:11 ‘…God, I thank you that I am not like other people–robbers, evildoers, adulterers–or even like this tax collector.’

It is by grace that we are saved. Jesus taught in the parable of the lost sheep His wish is that all comes to repentance.

A sinner is a potential world evangelist in God’s eyes. You should also see him as such and pray/teach him consistently until he comes to salvation

We are not excused from the rebuke of God, in fact as His children we should expect it. If he doesn’t correct us when we make mistakes then we may need to check our status with him.

It is he that the father loves that he corrects.

Challenge:
Today, intercede for someone’ salvation today.
