Good turned to bad
Caught in a web
Carefully crafted
But not from His eyes
Healed your pain
Never got a thank you
Got a shrug off
Wasn’t worthy?
Deep in you like a fool
Honest fool anyway
You got lit
Realised my light wasn’t enough
Got despised
It was over
You never could say it
But everything said it
Got courageous to let go
Shattered in pains
Ate the pig’s food
Riot all night
Dancing with the devil
Isolated and defeated
Hanging on to the thread of hope
To the last ray of light
It was a long night
But at last it dawned.
