So the oil multiplied in 2 Kings 4 for the woman and her son.
The oil stayed because they didn’t have any other vessel to pour into…but did the oil really stop? Let us look at this scenario.
Now, the woman has another problem, she has hundreds of gallon of oil but she needs yam, need clothes, need flour etc
Abi she can’t be drinking and wearing the oil.
So she innovated. She packed the oil in different sizes of bottles and created various means to sell it.
Doing that she was able to meet the oil needs of everyone around her and because her oil was pure and undiluted…she was selling quality oil, people trooped from everywhere to buy from her.
She became a problem solver.
Remember, her family was in debt, she met the people that her husband owed and they agreed on a payment plan. She was faithful to the payment plan…she didn’t go buying SUVs yet. She maintained integrity in all her dealings.
Then the funds that came in, she managed it very well, invested it in other businesses. She approached the main oil producers and became one of their main distributors.
She managed her clients very well and they became her foot soldiers in advertising her products. Soon she created outlets in other cities and expanded her business into other frontiers.
Four things she did not to go back into debt:
1. Innovation: She converted the oil into something useful.
2. Solve Problems: Met the oil needs of people.
3. Prudence and Integrity: She paid her debts and didn’t buy unnecessary luxury.
4. Personal Development and Management: She developed herself to be able to manage at a higher level. She managed her resources well both human, financial and material…
_*And the oil never really stopped flowing.*_
This is the practical side of favour, anointing, miracles…it is meant to break the yoke and when it is broken you have to learn how not to become yoked again.
Let him that has an ear, hear what the Spirit is saying.
