Where is my pen?
Musings feel my heart
Deep thoughts of great beginnings
Wondering where we all got it wrong
Hope of a great marriage
Crashed because of indiscipline and greed
Fights and shouts
Name callings and distrust
How did we get to this point?
Where is the love we professed?
But it dawned on me
We were only united to satisfy each others lust
We fought together on the plains and in the valleys
We were only united because of our greed
And when we defeated our enemies
And had no else to fight
And when our lust and greed was satisfied.
We turned to fighting each other.
