1Ki 22:13 Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, “Now listen, the words of the prophets with one accord encourage the king. Please, let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak encouragement.”
The world system wants to conform us to its way. They are all saying and viewing things in a certain way, so if you decide to say it in the right way you are termed out of touch with reality or intolerant. They tell you, time has changed but one thing I know that doesn’t change is God’s view about a matter.
They advised Micaiah to speak encouragement instead of what he knows to be God’s mind.
But God is looking for those that will Dare to be Different and stand with him irrespective of the consequences. We may be termed fanatic but it really doesn’t matter what they call us if we are sure we are aligned to God’s will.
We are more interested in pleasing God than pleasing men.
“For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10
But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29
He has given us the charge, we will walk in love and we will say whatever he commanded us to say.
