The mistake is to think that because you have an 8 – 5 job or you own a business that you are not a missionary.
So you demarcate your life into secular and spiritual not realizing that who you are today is a tool in God’s hands to reach the people where you are.
You take up your spirituality cloak when you are in church or when you start praying in other tongues and leave out God when you are transacting in your financial sector.
So you are not able to witness because you need an “atmosphere of worship” to feel goose bumps to feel the anointing before you can preach.
You need to explain the deep mysteries of the kingdom under a teaching anointing…you cannot talk God without quoting scriptures hence you are not able to talk to ordinary people…You have so much complicated Christ that if there is no 2 hours exegesis, people cannot see God in your life.
Well, you are good for church but not good for the world where he has sent you.
(This is the reason you will end up starting another church or ministry and all manner of groups because without it you cannot be a witness…unfortunately)
If you will be a missionary, you must learn how to talk about the unknown God and end it in Christ.
You must learn how to talk medicine and end it in Christ. You don’t have to say “in Jesus name” for the authority of Christ to stamp what you are declaring.
It is the world that must call you “Christian” when the lifestyle and acts of Christ is seen visibly and you witnessing Him bringing them to a point that they say “What must I do to be saved?”
There is an agenda. God has an agenda…simply to reach the world where they are not for them to come into the synagogues but for the trained men to go to them.
Local churches are training grounds for missionaries to be equipped for their everyday mission field.
There are some people that the pastor will never be able to reach no matter how anointed he or she is…they won’t come to the fire fire meetings but a missionary seats with him everyday in the office and in the board room. They play golf together every weekend. They are in the same football club. They are in the same political party…etc
When shall we arise?
A call to missions.
