Dear Disciple,
You have been called by God into a leadership office in His body. It hasn’t suddenly made you a superman/woman and you mustn’t position yourself as such.
As much as you now have great responsibility, you mustn’t complicate your life by allowing people to have unreasonable expectations from you.
Your relationship/marriage should be natural as much as possible. Let people see you in your natural habitat…as spiritual as you can be, let them know you can eat boli and epa when you feel like. Sometimes as well, you don’t know what to do but you are relying on God totally for the solution.
The image of being perfect, have everything under control and we are cool, calm and collected many times sends the wrong message.
The disciples saw Christ eat corn, saw him cuddle up and slept when he was tired, saw him hungry and saw him cry but that never changed what he represented.
Don’t place unnecessary expectation on your relationship/marriage…you are not God but man. Enjoy yourself mehn…dis world short o…just be disciplined with it
And if a spiritual leader gives you this access to his life and because of that you are not able to be blessed through him again because you start dishonoring him in your heart… remember that man that told Elisha, even if God opens the window of heaven that what he said wasn’t possible? Yes…take your lesson from him. Now because you are close, you’re now talking anyhow. Have you forgotten this is Elisha? Elisha o…the man with the double portion!!
I wish you well.
