Bidemi was about writing an examination and on getting to the center she saw that the crowd was unusually large.
She inquired and was told it was because the failure rate is always on the high side every year. One of them even told her that it is her second time of writing the paper.
She became scared and asked the officials if she could defer that paper because she felt she wasn’t prepared enough but her request was rejected. Either she writes the exam or forfeit the money she paid.
In her confused state, she called a friend of hers and was almost crying.
” Tope, I am in big trouble…I didn’t prepare for this paper. I don’t want to fail, I may have to forget about the money”.
Her friend laughed and said “Bee, you can’t fail. We both agreed that you are coming out with distinction in this paper. Don’t allow people to sow bad seeds in your heart. If they failed, it doesn’t mean you will fail. In this same exam, some people had distinction. So go and succeed!”
It was like someone poured cold water on her.
She repeated to herself “It is impossible for me to fail because I have the unction of the Holy one and I know all things. I am a success”
Want to know how it turned out at the end of the day? Yes you got it right.
She had an A.
What do you feed your heart with? Once you have done your bit, hand over everything to God. Don’t allow negative seeds in your heart.
