Dear disciple,
When people say it is only the word and the word alone that God speaks to you…I believe the true interpretation of this is that the word of God is the judge for anything that you receive in your spirit.
The authority of the word is final! If you look for something else outside the word of God, you will run into trouble.
Infact if you look for something else outside the word of God, it proves that you are not fully of faith…you are still looking for something external to prove to you that God is real and reliable.
So settle in the word…it can be trusted.
On the other leg however is that God still speaks and reveals supernaturally…it is part of our package as children of God. Spiritual opening of the eyes to see into the spirit is as real as anything you can see with your naked eyes.
The more you develop your walk with the HOLY Spirit you will learn to know his voice and you will be privileged to peep into the spirit once in a while depending on what the Spirit will grant you access. You don’t need to cook it up.
If you do not see anything, you are as born again as the person that shares his revelation of seeing Christ everyday and He doesnt love you less.
If you crave to hear a voice in an unhealthy way, you will run into trouble…it is not only the Holy Spirit that speaks in the spiritual realm.
The word of God is your foundation. You cannot miss it following the word but develop learning to follow divine promptings…as you go along you will grow and get it right.
Test all spirits..and when you are able to identify the Holy Spirit…move in the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Being able to follow the leading of the Spirit is your greatest asset as a child of God.
Be a smart disciple.
