When we lead a team or we are privilege to have more knowledge than others, we are tempted to always tell people what to do and show off especially if you have someone in your team that is proving too know.
True leaders learn by listening. There are so many things you will learn if you only keep your mouth shut.
You will hear what people are not saying, their gestures and facial expressions will speak to you. Then you will be able to understand how best to allow them own the vision and develop creative ideas.
That you are the leader doesn’t make you superior, your goal should be “to be a leader of leaders”.
Today talk less and learn. Learn from everyone and around you. This will deepen your understanding of your environment.
