Sometime in 2019, I ministered a message titled “When to Move” in SOV Ibadan Charging Point. I have urgent impression to write this message so I can’t lay my hand on my Message Note right now. Just follow my fresh thoughts and be blessed.
The heart of my message then was that when God was leading the Israelites to the promised Land, He led them through the pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. God’s presence was their Map. One interesting thing about this journey is that wherever the cloud stays, they are to stay there and not travel any further. No extra step. No movement. If the cloud stays for a day and move next day, they move too. If it stays for a Week, a Year or more than, no movement, they pitched where it rests until it signals to proceed. To stay when it says to move and move when He says to stay is disobedience and it will affect reaching the promised Land.
Now, it looks so simple but it wasn’t. Imagine God is taking you to Abuja by Road. He tells you to stop at anywhere your Google Map beeps you to stop and don’t move or proceed till it tells you to. Your take off is Lagos, then you get to Opic very close to magboro and it beeps to stop. This means that the distance you are yet to take regardless, you mustn’t be in haste to proceed. All you need as you make your stop-over is the wisdom of the Spirit to know where to lodge and what to do till the lockdown shifts. The wisdom to know what to do NOW is the key.
In the case of the Israelites, they would have to build tents from time to time, make cooking points, create bathrooms and shit-points. They would need to put a whole lot of things in place for their sustenance for as long/short they’re staying #Laughing.
This isn’t cheap. Why? After building tents and all, if the cloud moves the next minute, day, or Week…they have no choice than move. Now, it is foolishness “not to fix what is needful” each time because of the fear that the cloud might move any moment or build Royal castle like they have come to stay. It might be sooner or later.
The other side of it, is that, it is unwise to waste time thinking the stay over will be much longer. #smiling.
Now, friend, we are in a lockdown. You can’t move or go through your journeys and business as it were. We can’t move until this clouds move. While this lockdown rolls, we can FIX WHAT IS THE MOST NEEDFUL for our lives and destiny.
I was engaging our Singles in our Singles Crib yesterday, I asked them to share what is needful for their destiny they’re fixing at this Junction. My singles are enjoying online courses, writing books, reading books, doing extensive Bible study, going through online trainings, building bonds with family, and just ONE PERSON cried out “IT IS BORING” #Rodfl
When Noah was in the lockdown inside the Ark, I’m so sure he wasn’t sitting down and fondling his hands and hissing, pacing up and down. Think about it.
This April is actually mapped out for my offline projects and I’m locking it down. I would have had struggle sticking with it if invites for ministrations I can’t turn down comes in. Now I’m in for good. 30days will produce something I have always excitedly look forward to achieve.
This season is still the best part of your lifetime. Get your pen and paper, draw out what your destiny needs the most now? Can you pray 1-2hours each day? How about Bible study for 1hour or so? How about a fast to brush up your spiritual fire? How about books to sit with and feed your spirit? How about audio messages? How about some dance? Yessss someone like me needs some dance time. I have been too serious with life. Lol.
Some people do not need any online course, your destiny needs good sleep and movies. Let your BP normalise, some parent do not need books now, bond with your children and have family talks. Some husbands/ wives do not need Facebook and games, you both need good Sex and rebuilding of emotional Intimacy. Drop the phones, talk! Talk! Get online Quiz for assessing marital Intimacy and see how you can improve your Marriage. Some singles need to learn how to shut in with God and enjoy self-love, you can’t visit Le boo and le bae now. If you have a deep sense of frustration Because you are alone, get your healing now.
See, there’s a lot you can fix in this lockdown before the cloud moves and we are all back to the usuals…on the road…running to get to our promised Land in business, ministry, careers and life generally.
“…So the Israelites moved at the Lord’s command, and they camped at his command. While the cloud stayed over the Tent, they remained camped.Sometimes the cloud stayed over the Tent for a long time… the cloud was over it only a few days…Sometimes the cloud stayed only from dusk until dawn; when the cloud lifted the next morning, the people moved. When the cloud lifted, day or night, the people moved. The cloud might stay over the Tent for two days, a month, or a year. As long as it stayed, the people camped, but when it lifted, they moved.” Numbers 9:17-23
Hubby was asking me if I need to register for an online course. My response was sharp and ready ” NO…I need my BIBLE for personal study and the 2hours you take us in the house, 1 HOUR PRAYING IN TONGUES daily, WORK ON MY PROJECT, EAT WELL AND GOOD SEX.” #Laughing
What do you need to fix now? This flood will soon dry up and we’ll be out.
Father of Light, Let there be light. We receive mercy and the help you promised for our Nation and all the Nations of the World. Send healing and let people affected recover speedily. Comfort and strengthen families that are hurting and keep us safe in your love. Shalom
